pavement.

The repair on this corner has caused much anguish due to an underground fire involving high voltage cables at the end of March, resulting in closure of the side street and partitioning-off part of the carriageway for pedestrians while the pavement was out of commission.

 The last paviours were only re-laid yesterday and I had walked across it today (after a hefty repair at the dentist's) before realising that soon the problems will be over - foot, pedal and motor traffic will be able to run freely - or as freely as is ever possible on Morningside Road.

It deserved a blip.
