A fleet is assembling at Liverpool this weekend to commemorate the Battle of the Atlantic. It is difficult to get information about the arrival of individual vessels. I went to New Brighton on the south bank of the mouth of the Mersey this morning. It was very windy but bright.

Just before I left the Belgium frigate the F931 Louise-Marie arrived and was helped into her berth by two tugs. HMS Edinburgh is due to arrive later today sometime between 7pm and 11pm.
