Hadnock Holt

It's been a lovely sunny day but a little chilly out of the sun: It's the first day since we collected Mrs BB new pedal cycle that the weather has been ok and we've had the chance to get out. Today we cycled from home to Monmouth town (South Wales UK) and back, nearly 20 miles round trip.

Mrs BB returned some online items she'd bought and we had a Costa Coffee before heading home. The main photo' shows Mrs BB at Hadnock Holt, Monmouth, the site of a former Railway station. The extra is slightly further on showing Little Doward hill (An Iron Age Hillfort (England)) and a stunning Mayflower tree.

Granddaughter Amelia arrived shortly after we got home with her dad. We have her the night and most of tomorrow to help her parents out as it's half term and another couple of weeks off school!
