Sharing The Shade
Check out yesterday's mural of faces and info on the City of SOUTH Tucson.
It almost nicked the 100F (38 C) mark today, and even the birds were hanging in the shade.
Here's a Gambel's Quail and a White Winged Dove sharing some space on my neighbor's wall. I've been seeing birds frequently seeking the shade of the ocotillo during the afternoon the past few days as the temperatures have risen.
It's not the best shot in the world because it's through my bedroom window but even I didn't feel like going outside. Great blip or not!! :-)
