In Triplicate

These three flowers popped this morning, right on the very top of my Gold Torch cactus in the back yard.

It's just a little bit different from the Flowering Torch cactus seen here a few days ago. This one gets taller and thinner, more cylindrical overall.

But just like it's sister, here today, gone tomorrow. I'm glad they bloomed on different days. I don't have any more buds so I think my yard's season is over. It's very hot, so I can just assume that most things are now pretty dried up. Not much more to be had.

Spring is over.
