Blossoms
In the week I was away our garden has exploded into spring, with the bulbs all up and blooming and this white cherry tree is full of blossoms. Last year due to the frost we had hardly any blossoms on this tree, but now it is so pretty. It was such a beautiful day today, sunny with blue skies and it certainly felt like spring. When I walked Xena in the woods the birdsong was wonderful.
I had a few chores to do today, I obviously had to get groceries as the fridge was bare. I had a few admin things to do too, like preparing the letter and supporting documents for my sister to get a visa to be able to come visit us in the summer. I also have been sent all the documents from the treasurer at our camera club to verify for the accounts as I am the appointed examiner of accounts for the club (it does not need a full audit by a registered auditor which is just as well as I am no longer registered)
Gavin also kindly dropped my camera off at Fixation in London to get the sensor cleaned, it was so spotty, and now that we are entering a period of blue skies the spots are more apparent against the darker blue sky.
Our camera club meeting tonight is via zoom as it is a talk on fine art photography which I am looking forward to.
