GF bagels are horrible & V's allergic to Collies

Last Sunday Ann should have been at the 'Sheraton Hotel' for lunch, but she tested positive for COVID so didn't go.


Today she said she would have the girlies round for lunch. Obv nothing as grand as lunch at the 'Shearaton', but lunch nevertheless.


One of her friends is 'Gluten Free' and is also allergic to dogs. My human could RANT forever about 'dietary requirements' and 'allergies' and things that people can and cannot eat these days. BUT, Ann's friend, V, is 82 years old and has been GF since before being 'allergic' and having 'dietary requirements' became fashionable??!!!


Because the girlies were coming for lunch I went out for a couple of  hours this morning because Ann knew she would have drunk too much wine wouldn't have the energy to take me too far after lunch. Don't I look gorgeous hanging out in the wild garlic. And then just look what I found when I was walking through Colinton Mains Park................. another manky old tennis ball. Yay!


........................ Lunch was a selection of buffet/finger type GF food which included GF bagels with cream cheese & salmon. OMG?! How horrible were they? Even V, who obv eats a lot of GF bread etc, agreed that they were the most disgusting things in the world........ Fortunately there were a lot of other GF goodies for the girlies to eat......................


And guess what?......................... Even though Ann threw away the horrible bagels, she took the salmon out of them first, and I got some salmon and cream cheese on top of my dinner tonight. It was yummy.


Unfortunately, because V is also allergic to gorgeous little Collies, Ann shut me in the kitchen area when they were having lunch. I was very good. I didn't make a fuss. I just lay by my gate and watched them.
