Back in St Ives

My human loves it here. Why she ever decided to make Edinburgh her 'main' home is a mystery. Actually, it's not a mystery............. It's because pre lock down, her social life in Edinburgh was so much better than life in a small seaside town in the South-West of Cornwall.

We've only been back in St Ives for a few hours and it's pouring with rain. The weather is horrendous. We have all the heating on.

BUT................... we're in ENGLAND. In England ALL Covid restrictions were lifted on 28th February 2022. And that might not seem like a massive deal to a lot of people, but for my human, that is a HUGE deal.

For example, wearing a face mask isn't actually a HUGE deal, but if one is working in an environment where they have to wear a mask for the whole of their shift at work, then that actually becomes a big deal.

A few of Ann's 'Scottish friends' (who are Nicola Sturgeons supporters) claim that 'Scotland' is miles behind England re lifting the COVID restrictions because of some super spreading variants which hit Scotland first. They claim that it's like measles and spreads really quickly.

Mmmmmmm............................ Who knows.........................

Anyway, we're back in Cornwall and hoping to have a lovely time here for a month. Unfortunately a lot of our friends that we were hoping to go out with during the next week have COVID. But heyho, it is what it is?
