Palm Sunday Donkeys

The weather was so much better today than yesterday - a lovely bright spring day, and quite warm in the sun and out of the easterly breeze! So this afternoon my Editor and I decided to revive yesterday's aborted plan to walk to the Rising Sun Country Park.

It's usually a good place for blips of one sort or another, including at the little farm or the falconry, but today there was very little going on anywhere. However the donkeys were there as usual so my Editor suggested blipping them, as it seemed appropriate on Palm Sunday. As we approached them, this little girl was patting one of them so I thought this would make a nice cute photo (she's not known to us, but as she's not identiable from a back view I don't think there's any breach of privacy or child protection).

At times, both donkeys were pushing their snouts under the wire fence to get at the longer grass, as the grass in their enclosure was getting a bit short ("the other man's grass is always greener"!).
