Colours

Did not sleep well last night. Too much cheese, too many sirens and the the builders arrived at 7.

It was cold and gloomy in London this morning. This brightly painted shopfront on the way to the Cafe for breakfast brightened the day.

We had a good meeting that finished early. There were armed police at Liverpool Street at lunchtime. I didn't hear about today's atrocity till much later.

The train going back was much more civilised than yesterday's journey south, except no socket in the coach so no laptop and by Edinburgh both phone batteries were flat. How we rely on the technology.

Another 'Southsider' tea and then to sing. I'll be glad when this month is finished. It's been pretty exhausting.

#2 son is 27 today. How did that happen?
