"Sunset over Dinting"
I like the way this turned out it was taken through the upstairs window at my daughters. The view from there is so varied the Dinting viaduct runs over the main road out of the village.
The work is a £6.4m project to strengthen Dinting viaduct.
The railway bridge dates back to 1842 when it was built to carry trains over Dinting Brook on the Glossop to Manchester line.
Engineers from Network Rail are now working on the multi-million pound operation which is similar to that recently carried out on the viaduct at neighbouring Broadbottom.
The work is expected to take 18 months and will include giving the viaduct a fresh coat of paint in a shade of olive green so that it blends in with its surroundings.
