Themi

I’ve enjoyed my week in Arusha. This morning there was time for a short jaunt to Themi Falls to paddle in the water before heading to the airport to go back to Dar es Salaam. Fellow passengers were giddy about having their photo taken on the runway in front of Arusha’s mountainous backdrop.

The weather in Dar es Salaam was torrential. ‘The city is a mess when it rains’, said Dennis. Very true based on how long it took to crawl home from the airport.
