Burst banks

Friday
Steven, Lisa, and Norah were heading home today (via Lisa's family in Lancashire). We all spent the morning with mum before they set off at lunchtime.
We went back over to see mum in the afternoon and managed a stroll round new park between showers. A group of people were planting new trees along beside the new stretch of road.
Dennis and I had dinner at Cafe 3 sixty - curry night. As we passed the river Bovey we could see it was in spate after all the rain.
We found a fire engine sitting outside our accommodation when we got back - apparently, there had been a chimney fire at the house across the road.
