Mývatn

After a good night's sleep, we were ready to take it easier. Off to Mývatn Nature Baths for brunch and a bathe in hot spring lagoons for an hour or so. Just down the road to Hverir to see some more venting, bubbling mud baths and steaming fumaroles, that were very steamy and sulfuric stinky. A quick change of attire to walk up to Viti Crater which is within the Krafla caldera, normally with a green lake inside, but today a frozen lake. Back to the hotel for dinner and a relax, we probably only drove about 20 miles today, if that.
