Pre-Season Supper

Our outdoor bowls club held its annual Pre-Season Supper this evening. Good food, good company and we do have some characters :-)

Our last league match of the season at the indoor club today resulted in a defeat, against better opposition it must be said. A big bowls weekend ahead, more about that to come.

On a positive note son Andy was discharged from hospital yesterday, albeit his condition remains frustratingly undiagnosed. While he’s still experiencing some low level pain he’s managed to keep down increasingly more substantial meals. A period of recovery until he gets back to full health with fingers crossed that there’s no recurrence.
