Last visit in Brittany was to a site where truly enormous standing stones had been transported from miles away and erected. At some point they were felled by an earthquake and broken but the pieces are immense. Then on to the south, now stopped for the night near La Rochelle. Tomorrow we'll visit the town and head out to the Ile de Re.
