Afternoon out

Another grey day but as I was doing errands and a food shop it didn't matter.  I took back the bits and pieces to Next and looked longingly at the summer dresses and tops but no point buying anything as summer is ages away!  

Home for lunch and rendezvous with OH who had done MIL shopping and met the new 'help'.  Once a week to start with to help with bits and pieces (and picking up stuff from the floor she drops and can't pick up again!).  

The weather looked a bit brighter so we decided on a trip out to Ightham Mote - the house wasn't open but we wandered around the grounds and remarked that they need a few more gardening volunteers to tidy the place up?  I made a 'carpe diem' purchase in the shop of a new pair of sunglasses - just need some sunshine now!
