Swallow at Hurunui

Thankfully, the rain has stopped.  Skies are still grey but the sunshine has done its best to burst through.  The drive from Gore Bay took me back to the main road via the mouth of the Hurunui River where I met a few swallows.  It feels like forever since I had my lens trained on one of these wee flitters so my technique was a bit rusty.  Pleased with this one though.  A quick reccy in Chch to check out exactly where I'll be heading tomorrow morning for Gerty van's new heater then out to good ol' Weedons for a quiet afternoon and evening of relaxation.
