Ben from NYC

I started speaking to Ben beside the traffic lights at Abbeyhill. I immediately noticed his beard from across the road so crossed over and asked if I could take his picture. He used to live in New York but has been in Edinburgh for 5 months and really enjoying it. He had just picked his daughter and her friend up from a dance class. As they waved goodbye to the friend he remarked that it was great that at 8 years old she could walk home by herself, something that wouldn't happen in NYC. I think we need our visitors to remind us of how fortunate we are to live in Edinburgh.
