Flowering Currant

Well, the forecast rain failed to materialise so I had another walk with the dogs this morning - it was actually quite mild and the chilly wind of the last view days has dropped away.

The calm conditions meant I was able to get a photo of this flowering currant…which I have spectacularly failed to do over the last few days as the wind was blowing them around too much. I have dozens of blurry shots of it!

Anyway, we did another 3.5 miles today - so since they arrived last Friday we have clocked up 19.5 miles together. They are currently out for the count on the sofa (extra)! They are due to go home tomorrow and I am sure they will welcome a break from walking :-)
