Back to work today. With the hour going forward at the weekend, it felt particularly early to be up and needing to be organised. However, my early morning wake up call (Merlin) had me in hand and ensured I was out of bed in plenty of time!

This is the bird feeder I made on Friday. I rather like it just as a decorative feature which blows in the breeze. It was an enjoyable process making it, the sensation of using the hands to bend the soft willow, the three part mantra which served as my ‘pattern’ and the gradual emergence of this lovely twisted structure. I think I’d like to try more willow weaving.
