Can You Guess What It Is?

It was frosty this morning, but the sun came out when I was putting a finish on the new Gonks and gave some nice shadows from the guy sitting on the desk waiting for a tail (2 more sunny shots).

The Gonks now have facial hair and the owner of the shadow shouldn't have too long to wait for a tail. He has no idea the trouble I had getting it to the point it is at .... selecting the right kind of wood (wrong choice to start......too soft), cutting the wood (twice - obviously), having the sharpen things, change saw blades, hand cut large chunks of wood, retrieve bits of wood that left the lathe and tried leaving the garage! (glad I wasn't in its line of leaving).

The chicken was stripped, boiled down, loads of veggies prepared and added and a soup was made.

All in all, it has been a day where much was done and nothing really achieved.
