“Don’t do too much housework today” said D as he left for college, so I sat in the sun and made another wonky dogwood basket, with a handle this time.

Then I did housework, and some gardening (pulling out a wheelbarrow load of invasive raspberry canes, which was just like housework, except that I got to hear the birds singing).
