Joe felt very tall standing next to this depth indicator, which was washed downstream to the Cairn Water in last year's floods.

We had another nice walk down here with Jess, and picked up a whole carrier bag full of litter, including bagged dog poo :-(

I did some gardening later this afternoon - the last of the dogwoods got pruned and then I started pulling out brambles in the woods. Tomorrow's job will be cutting back rogue raspberry canes growing in with the daffodils.
