Changing skies at Spring Grove
Saturday
Roger had another Trustees work session at church this morning, so I had decided if the weather was fine, I would go for a walk at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum. In fact, the weather didn’t seem sure what it was going to do, one direction would be grey clouds, while in the other direction there would be patches of blue sky. Anyway, I donned my rain jacket and went anyway. As you can see in the lower left photo there were some interesting light effects, with sun-lit trees against threatening skies. The clouds eventually won, and it started to rain quite heavily for a while, but I managed to shelter under the porch of one of the mausoleums. 15 minutes later, the sun was out again, and the afternoons turned out quite nice. Fortunately, Roger’s team at church had just finished their work when the rain came. He’d had a pretty strenuous morning, so we both had fairly lazy afternoon.
