I had to go to the Bayers Lake Walmart today for some merchandising assignments. Normally I don't have to go that far, but because the Halifax rep passed away and no one has been hired to replace her, the assignments are coming to me. My problem is the amount that I get paid in travel. MCA pays a flat rate for travel, so I get paid the same amount if I travel 5 km or if I travel 20 km. I went to Bayers Lake one day for CI and they paid me $14 for travel vs the $4.50 that MCA is paying me. 
One of the FB challenge groups has long exposure as the theme this week. I was looking to get a second photo to use this week, we can submit 2 photos. The Kearney Lake Dam is not far from Bayers Lake, so I decided to stop there.
The temperature today stayed around 2 C, and the wind made it feel colder. I looked at the 14 day forecast this afternoon and the temps look like they are going to remain below normal. Not much sun in the forecast either.
