Schools orienteering- Cardingmill valley

Over 200 kids were sent off into the hills wi’ nowt buta map ‘n’ dibber. Not even a compass!!
They all came back, eventually. One group had decided to play in the stream for a bit… good for them I say. All were muddy and wet.
Us helpers were wet but jolly. The photo taken early on doesn’t show the hailstones, rain and wind which blew up the valley several times during the afternoon.
