Magnolia flowers

A bright start to the day but rain has been forecast.  I was out at the gym for sprint cycle and then returning for a later Pilates session.  It was still fairly sunny at this time.  I decided to visit Bicton Gardens for a flower photo and headed straight there.  There were a few showers but I sheltered in one of the greenhouses.  Lots of Camelias in flower with their large older colourful blooms on the ground, it's been very windy today.  A lot of the Magnolias are out in flower including one very large one with a carpet of pink older petals on the ground.  A lovely sight.

My husband has been out on a cycle ride today which would have been pretty difficult given the strong winds and short heavy showers.
