Peak cherry blossom day

Today is peak cherry blossom day in DC. I, however, am employed. I am happy I am employed, I am happily employed. The soonest I can go is Saturday and it will rain tomorrow. Many of the cherry blossom activities, including the kite festival, are postponed until Sunday. This should be the saddest thing :-)

Ukraine is getting Leopard tanks from Europe and Abrams tanks from the US. Russia is getting ready to use tanks from the 1940s. 

Retired major general with the Australian army said that the Ukrainian army is currently the best in the world.  

Save Ukraine, an NGO that fights deportations of Ukrainian children helped get a dozen children back to their parents. They assumed power of attorney for some parents unable to make the trip to Crimea.
