Flick the chimp

Today I went to Kingston and saw several of the Chimps which are still on display there. This one is in front of the famous telephone boxes …they are a permanent fixture and could do with a repaint as looking quite run down.

Prior to this I went to the Rose Theatre as today was the Richmond Schools Singing Festival organised by the Richmond Music Trust. There was a morning and an afternoon session as there were so many choirs taking part. My twin grandchildren who are in Year 1  were in their school choir alongside children up to Year 6. They did very well…I particularly liked their rendition, plus actions, for the Queen number ‘ Don’t stop me now’ . There were literally hundreds of children involved so well done to all the staff who organised the logistics. 

Tired after lots of walking and a bit of gardening while sunny, but aim to go swimming tomorrow.
