La Corbiere

Good weather forecast today so it was off on the bikes to explore. First stop was on this outlook over La Corbiere lighthouse.
Then on in search of coffee. Encountered a walker who advised us of various places. We settled on a van with outside tables parked overlooking a bay, good bacon and egg Portuguese buns and coffee. Then on along the west coast, heading north. Purchased some Jersey Royals from a roadside stall and eventually reached L’Etacq where we bought some fish (not local alas) for tonight’s dinner. Back via miscellaneous country lanes to Waitrose for a very small shopping basket before arriving back at the lodgings in time for tea.
20 miles and the sun is still shining.
