Apple blossom time

Woke up to a very grey day but by the afternoon the sky turned blue and I spent it weeding the border around the lawn, we have a very heavy clay soil which is always wet and I have a constant battle with creeping buttercup which is everywhere.
The apple blossom is really good this year so I have high hopes for a good crop, even the ancient Bramley that looked half dead has a good show of flowers.
