Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

A fun weekend away in Aberdeen.
We picked up David first, popping into Tesco to use a £3 voucher. Then on to pick up Richard. We all enjoyed a relaxed breakfast in Charlie’s cafe. We had plenty of time before our train.
A good journey down , lots to see on the way including plenty of bouncing lambs.
We went to Pizza Express for dinner. Free dough balls as I had down loaded the app and we used our Tesco points to triple up saving us £54 ! Really tasty pizzas , chicken wings and a tea and chocolate Brownie / biscoff cheesecake to finish.
A walk through the new Union Terrace gardens. Some interesting sculptures and a nice play park for the kids.
Enough time for a dink in the dress circle bar before we took our seats to watch the show.
We had a really good view and I had an end seat so could stretch my legs.
We all really enjoyed it, very colourful and funny. Charlie was great as was Willy Wonka.
We caught the bus back to the Premier Inn at Bridge of Don :)
