Champions!

First of all thank you all so much for the hearts and stars for my anniversary blip yesterday. Considering it was 10pm and I still hadn't taken any pictures up until that point I feel very honoured to have made it into the popular pages.
This evening was our annual bridge dinner. I wore a frock! I don't know when I last did such a thing, lol.
We always go to the Royal Burgess Golf Club at Barnton as several of our players are members there. The food is delicious and it's a lovely place to spend the evening. After the meal we draw lots for partners and play bridge. Colin and I were drawn on opposite sides and remarkably both won our respective side. Sadly we didn't come home with those magnificent silver clubs in my blip, but arguably even better, with a chocolate Easter egg each!
A suitable exchange for yesterday's box of Celebrations, which I shared out onto the card tables for a tasty nibble as we played.
Our bridge club is the friendliest group of people, the bridge is good, and taken seriously but there is always time for a smile and affectionate comment. I had a lovely welcome back. I really do enjoy the company as much as the play.
