Early start - and Capoeira catch-up

Jack had to attend a tribunal today, in Bradford, for an asylum case; he was due to be called as a witness.  Meanwhile Marianna was due to deliver a training day in Leicester. This meant they both had to be out of the house before 7 a.m.
So I got there by 6.45, in order to get Frieda up and take her to preschool. It's lucky that we only live 15 mins' drive away.
Frieda was still fast asleep when I got there, and I enjoyed a bit of quiet time in J and F's living room. They're well ahead of me in getting their spring seedlings going.
Later Richard picked Luca up from Ruth and Josh's, for our usual Monday together, and I got back home to join them. So it was a whole team grandparental effort today :-)  I think I'll sleep well tonight.
Following up on Saturday's blip about Capoeira, here's a link for the local group I was visiting. There's some brief background info there:

There is more general info here, including the importance of slavery in the history of capoeira:

What I like about it is that it seems to be all about grace and fun: while the roots are partly in a form of martial arts, there are strong elements of dance and humour. I'm looking forward to visiting the group again later in the year.
