Blooming Monday

Never my favourite day and won't ever be.

The plan for this week is to get into work tomorrow and travel with 3 colleagues to a conference in Kassel.

My lovely, so reliable local bus company decided to help by having all the bus drivers go on strike tomorrow - what are the chances of that happening?

I have nothing against the strike.  Au contraire, I fully support it.  A wage that doesn't mean you have to count every cent three times is a human right.  And shouldn't mean you have to choose between eating or heating.

If your employer only offers the minimum wage that means they only offer that because they can't get away with offering you less.  How valued do you feel as an employee?

That was a mini rant - I have enough stored up for weeks.
