Frog eyes
Today we drove to the House of Bruar, near Blair Atholl in Perthshire. It's almost exactly half way between home and our daughter's home on the Black Isle. The main purpose of the trip was to retrieve our mini scaffold tower which we'll need for working on the boat in the yard next week. The bonus was a roast beef lunch followed by a walk in the woodland at the Falls of Bruar next door. There were patches of frogspawn in the woodland pools and closer examination revealed a group of frogs in constant motion, several trying to be top frog I imagine. See the first extra. The main shot was cropped from a larger area where I was sure I had seen a frog land, and there it was peering out. There was a lot of water in the river so the falls were quite spectacular, as in the second extra. Altogether a good day out.
