Favourite tree

Mothering Sunday,
quiet day, walks, roast dinner.
Last min dash for milk.

We slept well :-) Had a walk with Ben and Leo whilst Mr KCNQ2Haiku went cycling. Then I started the chicken dinner.  All good.  We had another walk to work it off and then home for Leo to have a bath and Ben to bounce on the trampoline - sometimes it seems that he never tires out.  
That's about it though, nice day.  I had a last minute pop for milk as it was getting dark.. we live in a suburban, built up area but you look up a bit and the trees make you feel you're connected to the natural world.  This one is my favourite.  Allegedly, in the past, our estate used to be lakes (hence we get soggy lawns) but at the corner (where this tree is) it turned to fields and I can imagine this beauty presiding over the land.
