Poor Midhurst

Terrible fire in Midhurst in the week, apparently five buildings damaged specifically the 400 year old Angel Inn which is burned out at the back.  As it’s a key building in that high street and listed I hope it’ll be saved.  The road and pavements are closed so the town is full of people driving around  trying to get through on what is a major road. My PIlates teacher was in a right fury about it all. 

After the class I walked down to have my own snoop and took some photos.

Nice afternoon potting up dahlias and lily bulbs.   And doing various chores.  It was so nice just to hang out at home.   Did some work, mainly reading scripts and emails followed by a nice peaceful evening.
