Room with a view!

Most of the hubs that I stay in when i stay over in London don’t have much connection with the outside world.  Some are basement, some have windows, some only have light wells.  So i was pleased to wake up in this one on the 6th floor in St Martin’s Lane and see Nelson, Houses of Parliament, the tip of Big Ben, St Martin’s in the Fields.  Nice start to the day.   

I wandered up to the office, most people work at home on a Friday so it was quiet and productive.  In the midafternoon i went over to see the babies and had a cup of tea with them to celebrate Ivy’s birthday which is on Sunday.  I bought her some Duplo and a new frock in Liberty fabric. Her attitude was,  of course, ‘what’s this annoying thing doing in my nice purple box?’  as she flung it across the room.  Although later she came over and held it up to herself. 

Home early evening for supper and a bit of telly.
