Wet walk

I was awake early again and got up, made a cup of tea and took myself off for a walk.  I have a waterproof coat but think waterproof trousers are on the list!  I listened to a few podcasts and did a few miles.

Home for shower and change and out for lunch.  We had driven past the pub/restaurant a few times since it has been done up and were not disappointed although the portion sizes were small for the prices charged.  Good job we don’t have huge appetites.

Home to light the fire and watch sport!  No.1 had a sleep as she was fatigued but woke early evening and we watched a film.  No.2 stayed for a bit and made changes to his exhibition paper (I didn’t understand a word of it).  Beautiful flowers from both offspring - maybe pictures tomorrow?

Another day done with only a few tears.
