Partially in Shadow

17.3C with thin cloud breaking in the afternoon to blue sky.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. Usual route. Very quiet today. No one on the beach. The tide was a little further in today. Maeve and I wandered about for a while, enjoying the warmth and being by the sea.

We walked up through the area where the Fishermen's huts are and as we passed by a small boat I noticed this little float almost glowing in partial shade beneath the bow. I like the orangey colours against the blue rope.

When we got home I had a cuppa, then I mowed the front lawn.
