Sea Glass

We have some low cloud today, taking the edge of the temperatures. Still a very nice day though, good for Maeve the deerhound to have a nice long walk so we had a wander out into the countryside then made our way down to the beach.

Not very much beachcombing later I saw this piece of sea glass. Just sitting there on the beach. It might as well have had 'blip me' on it rather than the word 'acid' :-) Makes a nice new picture for the series "interesting little things on the beach". Sea glass with the word 'acid' clearly marked on the surface.

I gave it a quick rinse at the edge of the sea, and dried it off. Then it was just a case of finding the right place to blip. It seemed to show up best with something dark behind it so the blip is somewhat stage managed in that there is a dark pebble under the word and I picked the gravelly spot on the beach on which to place the glass :-)
