Happy

This made me happy today - being in the reserve by myself and just watching the heron fishing in the newly re-dug pond.  It's the first time since the work was done that I've seen anything much enjoying the water.  I've been looking each time I go for signs of frogs and/or toads but have seen none - until today.

I've put this as the main because of the stillness, the heron's greatest weapon, but if you prefer blood and guts there's one in Extras ;))

The rest of my day's been very peaceful.  Hazel and I saw another butterfly (brimstone) on our walk and it's felt so warm I've junked my winter coat and gloves.  Long may it last (probably 2 days at a guess).
