Guardian of the Garden

I finished planting our veggie garden yesterday. I've planted it in stages, so we've been enjoying nightly salads with lettuce, spinach, baby swiss chard, mesclun that I bought as starters and kept in the greenhouse until a couple of weeks ago. We have lettuce, arugula and kale that overwintered and is growing like crazy. Can't wait until we have tomatoes and spring onions from the garden rather than from the store. we had quite a bit of rain overnight, so the newly planted seeds got a good watering.
I like whimsical garden decorations. This guy was a little damaged so I got him for half price. I wouldn't have bought him at full price because I'm cheap.
