Figs again!

My husband pruned our two fig trees way back and they didn't get any leaves or fig buds until late last summer. For a long time, we thought he'd killed the trees. He was devastated. This year, the trees have recovered and it looks like we'll have a bumper crop! Nothing like picking a ripe fig off the tree and savouring its succulence. I still can't believe that we have fig trees in our yard! The deer love them too, so they're protected by fencing.
