Doesn’t Look Good

Tomorrow sees Cornwall Council celebrating 100 Days To Go to the start of the National Armed Forces Day 2023, this year centred in Falmouth.
Cornwalls successful bid meant the announcement was made last June yet we have arrived in March, nine months later, with announcements just being made looking for sponsorship, volunteers, events and venues still to be decided and so forth. Talk about sitting on your hands!
The weather today was pretty grim and much the same is expected tomorrow, wet weather clothing for the event methinks.
We held the RNA Committee Meeting in the rugby club conservatory whilst watching and listening to the rain bouncing off the panes of glass.
Later Paddy and I braved the weather for a walk, it dried as we walked, which meant my clothes dried out quite quickly when I got home.
I contemplated attending the Town Councils Sea Shanty Festival Meeting on behalf of the rugby club in the early evening but following Mondays meeting I thought to give it a miss.
