St John's

I travelled to Penarth, Cardiff to visit my dad for a couple of hours and stopped off in Llandenny, nr Usk to take an aerial photograph of the village church which you can see from the A440 Newport to Monmouth dual-carriageway.

St John's Church dates from the 12th century with alterations over the next few hundred years. It has a feeling of age inside and is in the centre of the quaint village with pub, The Raglan Arms, about 100 yards away.
