The other day I noticed what looked like a florist's wrap in the very place where Mother Egyptian Goose had hatched and lost all her nine goslings. My curiosity was piqued, but I did nothing about it. Most likely it was raining or I was already late for work, but I noticed it again this morning, still in the same spot, so I stopped, photographed it, picked it up and took it with me to work where I released the stems and put them in a glass of water. The flowers were admired by my colleagues and at the end of the day, when I had shut down my work, I used a blank screen as a backdrop to photograph the blooms.
I wonder who bought them and why they were abandoned where I found them.
