Overworked and underpaid

At lunchtime, I joined a consultant friend of mine on the junior doctors’ protest march from Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary to the Monument in the city centre. There was a phenomenal turnout to conclude the 3 day strike for pay restoration.
